Pray For Boston

I had a post prepared for today. Had written it before I heard the news.

But then I did hear, and it rocked me. Boston has such a big place in my heart. And my heart aches for those involved in this tragedy.

For the family of the 8 year old boy who lost his life.

The same age as my baby sister. I can't even imagine.

So whatever was written for today can wait. Because today, Boston needs our prayers.

AMEN girl! It's such a tragedy. I've just been praying for the entire city, the nation, and especially for the hearts of those responsible– that they turn to the father and realize they need forgivingness and help from the Lord! Such a sad, sad day :(

It really is so tragic and senseless. But also so beautiful to see the many who rushed in to help even though they had no way of knowing that danger was past.

Amen! Still in shock about it all but in all of this hurt, I cannot thank God enough for this strong social media community and how it has come together to pray for the city and the nation. Thanks for reminding me that love wins. Love always wins.

The same age as my baby brother, too. My heart hurts... and it longs for the world to know of the hope found in Jesus.
