I'm officially 24!
Thank you to all of you who wished me a happy birthday! :) You all bless me more than I could ever explain, so seriously, thank you! I'm kicking off this year of blogging with my very first Influenster post.
If you haven't heard of Influenster yet, I highly recommend that you jump on this bandwagon! It's a site that connects you with brands looking for honest reviews of their products. You get to blog about amazing products fo free, what's not to like about that?
I was so blessed to receive the Mary Kay Influenster Box, which had me giddy with excitement when I opened it to see this:
So what goodies are you seeing in the image above? Well, allow me to walk you through it.
First up is the Mary Kay True Dimensions Lip Stick (Color: Pink Cherie):
As far as the lipstick itself, I would absolutely recommend this. I have tried multiple lip colors recently, and this is my favorite! It glides right on, and doesn't leave your lips feeling too sticky. The color isn't too thick or chunky, but it does last for a long time which is a major pro!
The Pink Cherie color is definitely as hot pink as it looks in the picture, so if hot pink isn't your color then I'd definitely give something else a try. I personally think hot pink looks awesome with the right outfit, but I'm glad I can mix it with other colors to get a great look anytime.
This lipstick is $18, and I gave it an A.
Next, we have the Mary Kay Cream Eye Color (Color: Violet Storm):
I had actually tried Mary Kay's Cream Eye Color before in a gold color, and I am definitely a fan of the product! It applies very easily with either a finger or a brush (I'm a huge fan of the Mary Kay Cream Eye Color Brush ($10) that came in the Influenster Vox!), and the color lasts for a long time.
The only thing that kept me from loving this product was the fact that the color can sometimes separate in the creases of your eyelids, and this particular shade took a lot of layers before it showed up as bright as I like it.
What can I say, I like me some bright colors! :)
This product is $22, and I gave it a B.
Lastly, we have the dynamic duo for mascara. The Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara, and the Mary Kay Lash Primer:
I'm not super picky when it comes to my mascara, and I know some people are. So take my opinion as you choose, but I absolutely loved this mascara. The primer and the mascara worked great together, providing no clumps and great length all day!
Just check it out for yourself:
Each of these are $15. Now I'm not sure how much I would typically pay for primer since I don't usually buy it, but I think $15 is a great deal for mascara!
I gave both of these products an A.
And now, if you'd like to see me super awkwardly talk as fast as I can to fit as much of this as possible into a 15 second instavideo, then enjoy:
Happy Tuesday, lovelies!

Love Mary Kay! I just received my first Influenster box over the weekend!! It was the Summer edition! Going to blog about it soon!
I'm so sorry I missed giving you an official happy birthday on your special day! Happy birthday!!! The makeup box looks fun!
Do you use the primer first or the mascara? i love the look, it makes it look like you have eyeliner on top of the lids.
@Hilda, I use the primer first. Then put the mascara on top to get the nice dark, long lashes!
