Get to Know PJ & A (1/2)

Hey friends! The last couple weeks have flown by, and lots of life happenings have gone down with them. As I'm sure the majority of you know through social media, I am now officially Mrs. Cosentino! (Actually, not legally officially, thanks to the good ol' name changing process. But a pastor pronounced us man & wife, so that works, right?)

Seeing as PJ is now my huuuusband (boy that has a nice ring to it), I thought it was time for you guys to officially meet him! As in, through the internet. Because that's how all of us bloggers do things, right? 

So, I give you part 1 of the 2 part "Get to Know PJ & A" vlog series. It's divided into 2 parts because this was our very first vlog, and we are clearly both talkers. My far-too-serious face in this video can be accredited to my brain thinking "this video is going to be wayy too long", as displayed by my abrupt ending of this first part. 

But don't you worry, I'm much more cheery faced in the next video, when I decided to heck with the timing. Maybe we'll be the only ones who listen to 10 minutes of Q&A with PJ&A, but if you happen to join us, I do hope you enjoy!

Speak Up Link Up - Wild and Freeee

Happy 2nd day of 2015, loves! I hope your year is off to a fabulous start. And if it's not, like some of mine have in the past, I hope you're feeling fully wrapped in His love and infinite grace, and encouraged by the idea that January 1st is just another day on the calendar.

I'm here to link up with Annie and Amber for the first Speak Up! vlog link up. I'm beyond excited for this, and was even more pumped when I found out the topic was wild + free. Hopefully, this vlog is the perfect way to kick off consistent 2015 blogging, yes? 

A couple disclaimers & fun facts about this vlog:

One - The sound quality is spectacular. If you're wondering how you can recreate it for yourself, just film your video on the edge of a cliff, on a windy day, directly beside a busy high way. 

Two - The comment I made about the scenic route being "just a tiny bit longer," bahaha. Try 3 hours longer. 

But totally worth it, right babe? 

Three - It's a good thing I filmed this when I did, because hours later I completely lost my voice. 100% gone. Something about the slightly sore throat or the 9 hours of singing along to the radio did me in. 

And with that, I present to you my wild + free vlog.

So forgive me if I don't answer all of the questions exxxactly right.

Prayer Chain! // Week 2

Happy Sunday, friends!

I am so excited to be back for round 2 of The Prayer Chain! I just want to first say that Melissa Jo and I have been so blessed by all of you and your prayer requests. It was so sweet to take some intimate time alone with God to pray for each of you, and I am so thankful for this network that He has created. 

This week, I decided to change things up and go vlog-style. I hope you don't mind :)

Hayy friends! It's that time of the month again, Girl Behind the Blog link up time!

I prepared a lovely vlog for you all today. Complete with the very fashionable "I just left the gym and have not done a thing to fix myself" look. 

You guys don't mind, right? 

Oh, and also, I should probably learn to count. This would definitely be the 4th time I've linked up, not 3rd. Whoops!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent mine at a women's conference down south in Ventura. 

It was ahhhmazing. I swear, God always nails it with these things, doesn't he? Can't wait to recap more tomorrow :)

2. The fact that I chose to record this video on my best hair day of all time.

3. The point where I can't think of what the green plant above my sliding back door is called. 

And the fact that I still can't. 

Any ideas?

4. The lovely awkward ending where I don't know how to end the vlog so I end it like any other conversation. 

Except instead of saying "Have a great day" I say "Have a great night"
