Sometimes & Always

Sometimes I forget my camera's battery when I go on vacation. {Only me, only me}. 

Always I am thankful for Instagram. Thanks to Instagram, my San Francisco trip was fully documented. 

Sometimes I think it's unfair when an Olympic athlete also is amazingly gorgeous. You're not supposed to have it all, right? 

Always I'm okay with it. After all, eye candy makes the Olympics way more fun. Especially when it looks like this:

Sometimes I tell myself that starting tomorrow, I'll start eating healthier. 

Always I don't. {But I will tomorrow}.

Sometimes I feel like I may be ready for a change of scenery. 

Always I am thankful to call beautiful Santa Barbara home. And I'll appreciate it for as much longer as God wants me here. 

Sometimes & Always

Sometimes I try my best to eat healthy. 

Always If there are leftovers in the house, I will eat them. It's just too easy to convince myself that the leftovers have to be eaten eventually, right?

Sometimes I just.don't.want. to go to the gym.

Always I feel great afterwards. So during those "Sometimes" moments, I just need to get my lazy butt there.

Sometimes I wish I could move thousands of miles away to try out the South or the East coast or anything different from California. 

Always I know I could never live any farther from these two than I do now. A 4 hour drive is far enough!

Sometimes I feel the overwhelming presence of the Lord {and it's ahhhmayzing}.

Always I am thankful to have a faith based on the truth of the Word, and not the feelings that come and go.

Sometimes and Always

I've been wanting to link up with Megan's Sometimes and Always series for a while now, but always end up forgetting! {Fail.}

Not this week! Here it goes:

Sometimes I don't wash my hear every.single.day. 

Always I am appreciative of simple hairstyles that distract from my not-daily-washed hair.

Sometimes it gets exhausting traveling so much. 

Always I am so happy after spending quality time with good friends that I don't get to see very often. 

Sometimes I will get so caught up with a good book that I am reading, that I will feel tempted to choose reading my book over reading the Bible. 

Always I feel so inspired, fulfilled, uplifted and at peace after reading God's word. A feeling that no other book can bring me. 

Sometimes I forget to write a Sometimes and Always post. 

Always I love reading these posts, so it's about time I hop on board.
