I Went to the Snow

It looks like you can take the girl out of SoCal. 

But let me tell you, the SoCal was still in the girl as she forgot how dang cold the snow can be!

Besides being cold though, it sure is incredibly beautiful.

It was such a great remember of how diverse God's creation is. 

Not to mention how diverse California alone is!

Went snow boarding for the first time in 5 years. 

AKA fell off the lift about 47 times and managed to finish each run approximately 26 minutes after every single one of my friends. 

But that first time that I managed to not crash into anyone while getting off the lift, and finished only 3 and a half minutes after everyone? 

Priceless. 

It was a great time spent with friends new and old.

Plus, the trip was planned and set in stone only about 48 hours before leaving, so I would say that counts as spontaneous, right?

Don't worry though. If 48 hours is too many for you, I'm sure there will be other spontaneous trips this year, too. 

And if I had a Life Bucket List, you better believe that make a video to Call Me Maybe would be on it.
