Write an encouraging note to someone you know.
Kerrie encouraged us to really pray about who we should write our letter to, and when I found this greeting card that I had bought a while back, I knew exactly who I wanted to send it to.
Meet Kacey:
She's so incredibly gorgeous, both inside and out. And I have the privilege of calling her one of my very best friends. Kacey is constantly going above and beyond for the people in her life, and is one of the most generous and selfless people that I know. She is exactly what the card says, the type of friend that not only can make any day better, but the kind that makes my life better simply by being in it.
And so I wrote her a letter telling her so.
I may have rambled a bit.
I loved that this week allowed me to share some love with someone that I care about. When you haven't been exposed to religion, it can seem like a giant list of rules. And let's be real, that can be a major turn off. So my goal is to show people what religion is about to me, love.
Jesus replied "The most important commandment is this: 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.' The second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these."
Mark 12: 29-31
He wants us to love Him, and to love others. Spread the love people, spread the love.
What a lovely thing to do and such a cute card too!
